About the company:
We are a fast-growing fashion accessories brand with a rapidly expanding presence in the cannabis space. Over the past four years, the company has achieved significant growth, scaling to approximately $5M in annual revenue.
The team is lean (16 full-time employees), distributed across the U.S., and operates in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The business is also entering an exciting phase of international expansion, including activations at major global fashion events and growth in new markets.
Scope of the role:
This is a part-time (10 hours/week) hybrid role combining HR coordination and light administrative support.
The primary goal of this role is to bring structure and consistency to core HR processes, while providing occasional support to the CEO on scheduling and administrative tasks. Currently, HR responsibilities are handled internally by leadership, creating a need for a dedicated, detail-oriented operator to take ownership of these workflows.
This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategic HR leadership position.
Responsibilities:
1. HR Coordination (Primary focus)
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end.
- Coordinate employee benefits enrolment and related support.
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records
- Monitor shared hiring inbox and route candidates to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure HR documentation and workflows are consistent and up to date
2. Administrative Support (Secondary)
- Schedule external meetings and calls for the CEO (3 per week)
- Assist with light calendar coordination
- Support ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Experience as an Executive Assistant with HR exposure or a junior HR generalist
- Strong ability to manage repeatable, process-driven tasks independently
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience supporting small or fast-growing teams is a plus
Team & Culture:
- Small, tight-knit, and collaborative team
- Fast-moving environment with high ownership and minimal bureaucracy
- Creative, design-forward brand with a strong identity
