Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–5 PM Pacific Time
Compensation: USD $1,500–$2,000/month, based on experience

About the Role
We are hiring an Estimator – Plumbing, Mechanical & Civil Piping for an established U.S.-based construction company in California. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid-level estimator with strong U.S. market experience who can independently prepare accurate takeoffs and estimates for commercial, industrial, and government projects.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, fluent in English, and comfortable working within established estimating systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for plumbing, mechanical, and civil piping projects.
Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Analyze material quantities, labor requirements, and pricing.
Prepare accurate estimates for commercial, industrial, and government construction projects.
Work within established systems and workflows, including Procore and FastPipe.
Collaborate with project managers to review and improve estimating processes.
Compare estimates against internal estimates and identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on construction estimating experience in the U.S. market.
Strong experience estimating plumbing, mechanical, and civil piping work.
Commercial or industrial construction experience required.
Experience with commercial, industrial, or government projects strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Procore and FastPipe.
Experience with estimating and construction software such as Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Civil engineering background or equivalent technical training preferred.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, quantities, materials, and labor pricing.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with U.S.-based project managers.
Full-time availability, 40 hours per week.
Ability to work Pacific Time business hours.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding. The strongest candidates will have a proven track record of producing detailed and accurate estimates, understand U.S. construction practices, and can confidently analyze plans and specifications.
Attention to detail, reliability, technical judgment, and the ability to integrate into an existing estimating workflow are especially important.
