You bring a proactive mindset, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence through automation and continuous improvement.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Expert-level experience with Terraform, including reusable modules, workspaces, remote state management, authentication, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) in production environments.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including VNets, Private Endpoints, Azure Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Managed Identities, Azure RBAC, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts.
- Experience implementing secure networking solutions, hybrid connectivity, and Azure governance.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Experience implementing cloud security, identity management, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) and/or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification are highly desirable.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Build and optimize reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure automation pipelines.
- Deploy, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Manage Azure networking, identity, security, and governance components.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Automate cloud operations using Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security through Azure observability tools.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and deployment issues while driving long-term platform improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve cloud reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership for Azure platform initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Expert experience with Terraform and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, Security, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Advanced English proficiency.
