About the Role
A premier South Central luxury lighting, hardware, and furniture agency — serving architects, designers, contractors, distributors, and hospitality professionals — is seeking a systems-fluent, detail-obsessed Marketing Operations to own CRM and automation infrastructure, email marketing execution, and process documentation, with a secondary layer of creative production support.
This is a primarily operations role (roughly 70% systems/automation, 30% content/creative). You will live inside GoHighLevel daily — building workflows, cleaning and segmenting the CRM, launching email campaigns, and documenting processes so the business runs predictably — while also contributing to sales enablement and brand content when bandwidth allows.
If you excel at building clean automations, can look at a messy CRM and know exactly how to fix it, and are comfortable working inside a B2B trade/technical business where reliability matters more than polish, this role is perfect for you.
Requirements
Operations & Systems (primary focus)
- Build, manage, and troubleshoot GoHighLevel automations, pipelines, and workflows end-to-end.
- Clean, segment, and maintain CRM data to ensure accurate lead tracking, tagging, and reporting.
- Build and launch email marketing campaigns from list segmentation and copy through automation sequencing and post-send performance reporting.
- Document workflows and standard operating procedures so systems are repeatable and transferable across the team.
- Monitor automation performance (open rates, pipeline movement, funnel drop-off) and proactively flag and fix breakdowns.
- Maintain organized project tracking via Monday.com, working to weekly agendas and delivering structured updates without requiring follow-up.
Content & Creative Support (secondary focus)
- Support LinkedIn presence with scheduling and light engagement to grow reach among architects, designers, contractors, and hospitality professionals.
- Assist in producing sales collateral (brochures, DFY sales guides, avatar-specific scripts) using Canva, maintaining brand consistency.
- Leverage AI tools to speed up content and copy production where needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM/automation platform, including workflow building and troubleshooting (must-have)
- Background working with B2B or technical trade businesses (construction, hardware, contracting, distribution, or similar) (must have)
- Demonstrated experience with CRM cleanup, data hygiene, and segmentation (must-have)
- Proven experience building and managing email marketing campaigns end-to-end (must-have)
- Experience creating clear process/workflow documentation (must-have)
- Proficiency with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate operational and content work
- Comfort working independently against weekly deliverable agendas with proactive communication
- Experience with LinkedIn content or B2B sales enablement materials (nice-to-have)
- Background in luxury goods, interior design, or hospitality industries (nice-to-have)
