Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Sao Paulo so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 6-month engagement, working full-time hours.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

This role is currently focused on leading our User-Generated Content (UGC) program and serving as a project manager for our internal creative team. You’ll source and collaborate with creators, find the right talent, negotiate payments, brief creators, and manage the delivery of around 12–16 videos each month.

You’ll also act as a key project manager for the creative team, organising campaign timelines, managing creative requests, and ensuring smooth communication and delivery across all stakeholders. In addition, you’ll lead and coordinate shoots across the region, overseeing everything from pre-production planning to on-the-ground logistics.

Have solid experience leading creative projects end to end, guiding teammates when needed and working independently with confidence and clarity.

Bring strong producer and project management instincts, keeping timelines, shoots, and deliverables organized—even when things shift quickly.

Bring experience working across both advertising and design, understanding the creative needs, workflows, and expectations of each discipline—and how to connect them to deliver strong, consistent, and thoughtful work.
Lift the quality of work across teams, contributing structure, cultural insight, and creative thoughtfulness that elevates every project you touch.
Have both depth and breadth in the creative process, understanding how design, copy, marketing, production, creators, and performance teams fit together.
Are a true ensemble player, collaborating with warmth and reliability, and helping the whole team operate smoothly and do their best work.
Feel at home switching between Portuguese and English, partnering daily with a global team that values openness, curiosity, and collaboration.

We’re the creative hub for LATAM, partnering across design, marketing, and creator teams to bring culturally relevant content to life. We blend global vision with local insight, producing work that feels authentic to our communities. As part of the team, you’ll help ensure our creator program and production pipelines run seamlessly, enabling us to deliver bold, impactful creative work at scale.
