SENIOR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

We are looking for a highly skilled** QA Automation Engineer** to join a fast-paced engineering team working on an advanced SaaS platform focused on intelligent financial transaction processing. This role is critical in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of systems that handle complex workflows, high data volumes, and strict uptime requirements. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end testing, API validation, and CI/CD integration, working closely with engineering, DevOps, product, and QA teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) test suites using Playwright and TypeScript • Expand automation coverage across critical workflows, features, APIs, and integrations • Build and execute API tests to validate backend services and business logic • Improve test reliability by identifying and reducing flaky tests • Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testability and product quality • Convert manual QA test cases into scalable automated tests • Validate complex scenarios such as authentication, authorization, role-based access, and multi-tenant environments • Debug issues across frontend, backend, and testing environments Required Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles • Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright (preferred), Cypress, or Selenium • Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks (Page Object Model) • Solid understanding of REST APIs and API testing • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows • Ability to troubleshoot and debug across multiple layers of the system • Strong written communication skills Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) • Experience with React, Vite, Testing Library, or modern frontend frameworks • Knowledge of Python and pytest • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI tools • Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise platforms with complex workflows • Experience testing multi-tenant or role-based systems • Knowledge of performance testing and asynchronous systems (queues, background jobs) • Exposure to AI, ML, or document processing platforms **Tech Stack ** • Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium • TypeScript / JavaScript • REST APIs • Git / Version Control • CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar) Working Conditions 100% Remote (LATAM) Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Eastern Time (ET) What We’re Looking For We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional who: • Enjoys building and owning automation frameworks • Has a strong focus on quality, stability, and continuous improvement • Is comfortable working in complex, high-impact environments • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams • Takes ownership of problems and drives solutions   #SolvoGlobal #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Remote
