QA Engineer (Database and Integration Migration)

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Engineer to support a migration from an on-premises Oracle and Boomi environment to Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory. This role will focus on validating that migrated data, database objects, ETL pipelines, integrations, and business rules work correctly in the target Azure environment.

Requirements

·      3+ years of experience testing data migration, ETL, ELT, or data integration projects.

·      Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and comparison between source and target systems.

·      Experience validating data between relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Azure SQL.

·      Ability to test ETL pipelines, data transformations, mappings, business rules, and integration logic.

·      Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.

·      Experience with defect identification, documentation, triage, and retesting.

·      Understanding of source-to-target mappings, data profiling, data quality checks, and reconciliation processes.

·      Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
