At Gratia, we believe potential is globally distributed, but opportunity is not. Our mission is to turn great talent's potential into fulfilling global careers through professional development and tech-enabled platforms. We bridge the gap between ambitious companies and hands-on experts who deliver real results instead of just theoretical plans.

Gratia is a remote-first, apprenticeship-based platform where opportunity is defined by what you can do and deliver. Our clients include global names like USA Today Co., Endeavor, and New York Life. We maintain an 88.2 Net Promoter Score because we focus on rigorous execution, not just high-level advice.

The role

We’re seeking a high-caliber Senior M&A / Transaction Advisory Specialist to support our client's buyout strategy β€” end-to-end execution of control investments in US healthcare provider organizations and services businesses.

The role centers on the rigorous financial and operational due diligence required to transform traditional healthcare practices into AI-native platforms, partnering closely with investment, AI, and operating teams across the deal lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the analytical components of due diligence, including financial performance reviews, unit economics tracking, and the audit of detailed operating models.

  • Synthesize complex data into concise investment committee materials to support high-stakes investment decisions.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of US physician practices, focusing on payer–provider dynamics, reimbursement landscapes, and M&A rollup potential.

  • Build and interpret sophisticated three-statement models and deal-structuring scenarios.

  • Partner with AI and operating teams to support transformation workstreams and value creation initiatives.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory (TAS).

  • Proven experience analyzing US-based healthcare provider transactions (e.g., physician practices, clinics, or rollups).

  • Exceptional financial modeling skills and experience managing the full deal lifecycle.

  • Proactive interest in leveraging AI and data-driven tools to enhance sourcing and diligence workflows.

  • Ability to translate complex financial analyses into strategic insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • A flexible schedule that allows for a consistent daily overlap with US business hours.

Why Gratia is your next step

  • This is a long-term contract/freelance role designed for independent professionals who want the freedom of private practice without the isolation of working alone. We offer both part-time and full-time engagement options.

  • Compensation is tailored to your expertise.

  • Elevate your profile by working directly with leaders at innovative global organizations like Gannett and Portrait Analytics.

  • We believe in moving from "doing" to "leading." You’ll have a defined trajectory to gain specialized expertise and leadership skills.
