Systems Analyst (PAM Technical Specialist)
At Gratia, we believe potential is globally distributed, but opportunity is not. Our mission is to turn great talent's potential into fulfilling global careers through professional development and tech-enabled platforms. We bridge the gap between ambitious companies and hands-on experts who deliver real results instead of just theoretical plans.
Gratia is a remote-first, apprenticeship-based platform where opportunity is defined by what you can do and deliver. Our clients include global names like USA Today Co., Endeavor, and New York Life. We maintain an 88.2 Net Promoter Score because we focus on rigorous execution, not just high-level advice.
The Role
We are looking for a technical Systems Analyst with hands-on experience in State Street PAM (or similar investment/portfolio accounting systems) to join a high-profile delivery team for a US client.
In this role, you will be the core technical resource analyzing and mapping how investment data, cash flows, and accounting basis treatments flow through PAM. You will work alongside our project leads to translate complex business and accounting requirements into structured, implementation-ready systems documentation.
What Youβll Be Doing
Manage PAM-related workstreams across core investment accounting and portfolio accounting processes.
Analyze and map how cash flows are captured, processed, and reflected within the system.
Review current-state PAM workflows to identify process gaps, system issues, manual workarounds, and areas for logic optimization.
Translate abstract business and accounting requirements into clear systems documentation, workflow notes, logic trackers, and technical specs.
Support PAM-related analysis across multiple asset classes, including mortgages, alternatives, fixed income, and equities.
Handle low-code or configuration-oriented systems tasks as needed to align system behavior with business requirements.
What Weβre Looking For
2+ years of experience in systems or business analysis with hands-on experience using State Street PAM (or a directly comparable investment accounting platform).
A strong understanding of how cash flows move through investment accounting frameworks and how accounting basis treatments are handled within data systems.
Comfort working with workflows related to mortgages, alternatives, fixed income, and/or equities.
Mastery of documenting complex workflows, data requirements, system dependencies, and edge cases clearly and simply.
Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to maintain a consistent daily overlap with US business hours for key meetings and real-time collaboration.
