Role Overview We are looking for a Salesforce Platform Lead to drive the strategy, architecture, and hands-on delivery of our Salesforce environment. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has owned complex multi-cloud ecosystems, led enterprise implementations end-to-end, and is equally comfortable in a boardroom conversation as they are in a setup menu. If you need to be told what to do next, this is not the role for you — we want someone who sees gaps before they become problems.
Key Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, and ongoing optimisation
Design and deliver solutions across multiple clouds including Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, Service Cloud, and/or Voice
Lead large-scale CRM implementations, ensuring delivery is on time, on scope, and built to scale
Act as the primary Salesforce point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Drive automation, workflow design, and integration architecture across business units
Ensure data integrity, platform security, and compliance with internal IT and MDM policies
Champion Salesforce best practices and maintain up-to-date documentation and change management records
Proactively identify platform gaps and propose solutions before issues escalate
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience in enterprise or mid-to-large scale business environments
Multi-cloud expertise across at least 2–3 of: Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, Service Cloud, Voice
Track record of successfully delivering large, complex Salesforce implementations — not just maintenance or small-business support
Proven ability to self-direct, prioritise, and deliver outcomes without micromanagement
Salesforce Administrator certification required; platform-specific certifications a strong plus
Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels
Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
MDM/endpoint compliance awareness and familiarity with IT security frameworks
Experience operating within environments with strict data governance or compliance requirements
Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Experience Cloud
Prior experience in a platform lead, senior admin, or Salesforce architect capacity
Tools & Technology
Salesforce (Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, Service Cloud, Voice)
Salesforce Flow, automation tools, and declarative development
Google Workspace
Slack, Zoom, and remote collaboration platforms
MDM/endpoint security tools (preferred)
