This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Advogado(a) Contencioso Trabalhista based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work with high-volume labor litigation within a multidisciplinary and technology-enabled legal environment.
You will manage cases across the full litigation lifecycle, from the knowledge phase through appeals, liquidation, and enforcement.
The position combines legal drafting, hearing preparation, procedural strategy, technical evidence, and direct coordination with clients.
You will prepare defenses and appeals, analyze expert reports, and develop strategies for complex employment-law disputes.
Strong organization is essential to keep deadlines, tasks, provisions, and case documentation accurately managed.
The role is suited to a detail-oriented legal professional who can handle a substantial caseload while maintaining quality, consistency, and procedural rigor.

Accountabilities:

• Draft defenses, procedural submissions, challenges, and appeals across all applicable instances of labor litigation.
• Prepare detailed hearing scripts for correspondents, including legal arguments, mandatory objections, witness questions, and limits for settlement proposals.
• Review hearing minutes, identify decisions and procedural points that were lost or omitted, and ensure relevant objections are reiterated in final arguments.
• Act in liquidation and enforcement proceedings, including challenging calculations, preparing objections, and defending against asset blocking measures.
• Prepare technical questions, analyze expert reports, and coordinate with technical assistants when required, particularly in matters involving unhealthy or hazardous working conditions.
• Request, organize, and validate supporting information and documentation from clients to strengthen case strategy and procedural submissions.
• Keep case-management records accurate and up to date, including tasks, deadlines, provisions, and relevant procedural information.
• Manage a high-volume portfolio while prioritizing deadlines and maintaining consistency and quality across cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Professional experience in labor litigation, particularly representing defendants/respondents in high-volume portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of the different stages of labor proceedings, including the knowledge, appeals, liquidation, and enforcement phases.
• Experience with outsourcing and subsidiary or joint liability matters, including Súmula 331 of the TST, ADC 16, and Tema 246 of the STF.
• Knowledge of culpa in vigilando and the specific legal considerations applicable to public-sector contracting parties.
• Familiarity with evidentiary hearings and the preparation and execution of hearing strategies.
• Experience handling technical evidence, including preparing expert questions, reviewing expert reports, and working with technical assistants in cases involving unhealthy or hazardous working conditions.
• Experience operating legal case-management platforms with task, deadline, and case-control functionality.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple cases and procedural deadlines.
