Accountabilities:

The role focuses on managing complex civil litigation matters while providing strategic legal support to corporate clients. The professional will be responsible for overseeing cases, developing legal strategies, and ensuring efficient execution throughout the litigation lifecycle.

• Manage a high-volume civil litigation portfolio with structured case tracking and strategic organization.
• Draft legal documents, including initial petitions, defenses, appeals, and other procedural filings based on established legal strategies.
• Monitor deadlines and manage the complete lifecycle of legal proceedings.
• Define and implement litigation strategies aligned with each client’s business needs and risk profile.
• Maintain direct communication with corporate clients to align expectations, updates, and legal outcomes.
• Handle matters involving civil liability, consumer law, digital platforms, internet regulation, privacy, and data protection legislation.
• Participate in negotiations, settlements, and agreements to achieve effective resolutions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a qualified legal professional with strong experience in civil procedural law and the ability to manage multiple cases independently. The role requires excellent legal writing, organization, and communication skills, combined with interest or experience in digital law and technology-related matters.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedural Law and litigation practices.
• Experience managing multiple legal proceedings simultaneously with autonomy and accountability.
• Intermediate English proficiency, particularly for legal reading and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to deadlines, and ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Previous experience supporting multinational clients or technology companies is a plus.
• Familiarity with structured workflows, performance indicators, and KPI-based legal portfolio management is desirable.
