We are looking for a Data Engineer to join an AI & Data team and contribute to the development and maintenance of modern data solutions.
In this role, you will design, build, and support data pipelines that enable reliable and scalable data processing.
You will work with cloud technologies, automation tools, and data architecture patterns to transform complex information into valuable insights.

Accountabilities:
The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data solutions that enable efficient data processing and consumption. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, ensuring platform reliability, and continuously improving data workflows through the following activities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and data availability.
- Build and support data engineering solutions focused on quality, reliability, and performance.
- Work with Python and SQL to develop data processing routines and analytical solutions.
- Implement and maintain workflows using Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Composer.
- Support batch, streaming, and Change Data Capture (CDC) data processing scenarios.
- Develop and optimize solutions using Google BigQuery.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-based data architectures.
- Apply Medallion Architecture concepts (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers) to organize and structure data platforms.
- Monitor data processes, identify issues, and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Professional experience in Data Engineering and development of data pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Experience with Apache Airflow and/or Google Cloud Composer.
- Experience working with batch processing, streaming data, and CDC (Change Data Capture).
- Experience with Google BigQuery.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of Medallion Architecture concepts (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
- Ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Strong communication skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage activities with a sense of urgency.
