AI TECH LEAD III

This role is designed for a highly experienced AI leader who will drive the technical vision and execution of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives at scale.
You will lead the design and implementation of next-generation AI systems, including generative AI and multi-agent architectures powered by large language models.
The position combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic decision-making, ensuring that AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
You will guide a team of engineers, defining best practices in ML engineering, MLOps, and production-grade AI systems.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into core products and platforms.

Accountabilities:
- Define the technical architecture, standards, and best practices for AI and machine learning solutions across the team.
- Lead the design and implementation of generative AI systems, including multi-agent architectures using LLMs and AWS Bedrock.
- Guide the development of predictive models and data pipelines, ensuring scalability and production readiness.
- Mentor and support engineers, fostering technical growth and high-quality engineering practices.
- Establish and evolve MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring in production.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Oversee experimentation, model evaluation, and lifecycle management of machine learning systems.
- Collaborate with other squads to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities across platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or related areas.
- Proven experience leading technical teams or AI/ML projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Bedrock, Lambda, and S3.
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Solid understanding of ML systems, MLOps, and production-grade AI architecture.
- Experience designing or working with generative AI and LLM-based systems.
- Nice to have: experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Claude/Anthropic models, multi-agent systems, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and serverless architectures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
