This role is focused on the development, integration, and support of technology solutions within a complex industrial environment, contributing directly to data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. You will work on building and maintaining systems, dashboards, and automation tools that support critical business processes, particularly in the subsea engineering domain. The position requires strong analytical and technical capabilities, with a focus on web systems, data manipulation, and business intelligence solutions. You will interact with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into scalable technical solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery. The environment combines software development with advanced data tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, and SAP-related scripting. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work on impactful systems in a structured and technically challenging setting.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance systems and web applications supporting business and operational processes.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Power BI and advanced Excel tools.
- Create and maintain scripts, queries, and automation solutions using VBA, SQL, and SAP-related technologies.
- Support data integration and processing activities, including BW queries and structured data workflows.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective system solutions.
- Participate in full development lifecycle activities, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Ensure system performance, data accuracy, and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
- Apply best practices in coding, documentation, and version control across development activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development or similar technical roles.
- Strong experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, SharePoint, and VBA development.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and BW query development.
- Experience with SAP scripting and data integration processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and related web technologies.
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, FDD) is desirable.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with complex data environments.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
