We are seeking a senior business analyst to support strategic Capital Markets initiatives, bridging the gap between complex financial products and technology solutions.
The role focuses on translating business needs into functional requirements, data mappings, and scalable solutions within agile environments.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across development, quality assurance, product, and business areas.

Accountabilities:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs, translating financial processes into technical solutions, and supporting the continuous improvement of capital markets platforms. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and business requirements for strategic initiatives.
- Translate complex financial products into business rules, functional specifications, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
- Support the complete lifecycle of financial operations, including front-to-back processes.
- Create test scenarios, UAT materials, and production validation evidence to ensure solution quality.
- Collaborate with development teams, QA professionals, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel to support decision-making and requirement validation.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools to improve documentation, requirement analysis, automation, and Business Analysis activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives within financial markets environments.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or equivalent role.
- Experience working in Financial Services, preferably within Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Post Trade, Operations, Risk, Treasury, or Front-to-Back platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and operational lifecycle processes.
- Practical knowledge of asset classes such as:
- Derivatives.
- Fixed Income.
- Money Markets.
- Equities.
- Foreign Exchange (FX).
- FX Options.
- Repos.
- Securities Lending.
- Structured Products.
- Ability to transform business requirements into functional specifications, business rules, data mappings, examples, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience creating functional documentation, test scenarios, UAT materials, and production validation evidence.
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel for data analysis.
- Experience collaborating with Development, QA, and Product teams.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Spanish proficiency at B2 level.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, analysis, or automation.
- Advanced knowledge of FX and FX Options, including Spot, Forward, Swap, Vanilla Options, FLEX Options, pricing sources, and hedging strategies.
- Experience with capital markets trading and post-trading platforms such as Murex, Calypso, DTCC, Icelink, OMS, Reuters Electronic Trading, FXall, or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of confirmations, matching, reconciliation, P&L controls, accounting processes, and regulatory processes.
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, JSON, Avro, and Schema Registry.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kibana, BDD, Gherkin, and test case design.
- Knowledge of market standards such as ISDA, FpML, ISO 20022, FIX Protocol, and Front-to-Back data models.
- Interest in automating Business Analysis activities through AI, scripts, and productivity tools.
- Fully remote position while working from Brazil.
