Analista de Qualidade

This role is focused on ensuring software quality across complex systems through structured testing strategies, automation, and continuous validation throughout the development lifecycle. You will play a key role in defining test plans, building and maintaining test artifacts, and ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are properly validated. The position involves close collaboration with development, product, and business teams, contributing from early design stages through delivery and acceptance. You will work with modern testing tools and methodologies, including automation frameworks, BDD/ATDD practices, and performance and security validation approaches. This is a highly technical and hands-on role where your work directly impacts system reliability, user experience, and product quality. It is ideal for someone curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving software through structured and innovative testing practices.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and related documentation to ensure structured and effective testing coverage across systems.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts, ensuring continuous validation of system functionality and performance.
• Manage and support test environments, including test data, simulators, scripts, and supporting artifacts required for execution.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, acceptance, exploratory, performance, and security testing based on project needs and risk analysis.
• Build mocks, stubs, and simulators to enable efficient and realistic testing scenarios.
• Monitor and improve test coverage, ensuring quality standards are consistently met across systems and releases.
• Log, track, and analyze defects, ensuring proper linkage to requirements and development artifacts.
• Support product validation cycles, including MVP testing, user experimentation, and results analysis.
• Apply practices such as ATDD, BDD, and Specification by Example to align testing with business requirements.
• Identify security vulnerabilities based on OWASP guidelines and propose improvements to enhance system resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize activities, and support delivery timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and quality engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent higher education with a postgraduate specialization (minimum 360 hours) in IT.
• At least one recognized testing certification (e.g., CTFL, CTFL-AT, CBTS, IBQTS or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, test planning, and test automation (functional and non-functional).
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools, bug tracking systems, and test data generation techniques (e.g., datapool).
• Experience validating requirements in both agile and traditional development environments.
• Knowledge of OWASP security principles and application security testing practices.
• Ability to design test cases based on business scenarios, user behavior, and defect patterns.
• Experience with test documentation, reporting, and quality metrics.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
