Accountabilities:

The role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions by designing, executing, and improving testing processes. The professional will collaborate with technical teams to understand requirements, validate implementations, and support continuous product improvement through structured quality practices.

• Create test scenarios and functional test plans based on requirement analysis and technical discussions.
• Execute manual tests, including database manipulation for test data creation and validation.
• Register, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and observed behavior.
• Perform interface testing, validating functionality, usability, responsiveness, and browser compatibility.
• Execute basic REST API testing, validating responses, payloads, and business rules.
• Support requirement reviews and acceptance criteria analysis to ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Maintain and update test cases according to product evolution and new functionalities.
• Collaborate with developers and QA professionals to validate implementations and improve delivery quality.

Requirements:

We are looking for a quality-focused professional with experience in software testing, web applications, and agile environments. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Development, or related areas.
• Experience with functional testing of web applications.
• Experience working in agile software development environments.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of web applications, including front-end and back-end concepts.
• Basic understanding of Java to interpret business rules and identify potential issues.
• Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with enterprise systems or complex business rules.
• Introductory training or courses in software testing.
• CTFL certification or similar QA certifications.
