This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista de SQL Server Pleno based in Brazil.

We are seeking a SQL Server Analyst to support the evolution and optimization of complex database environments.
The role will focus on improving performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity across critical systems.
You will work closely with development teams to design efficient database solutions and implement best practices.
The position requires strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to technical improvements that directly impact system efficiency and business operations.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server queries, views, stored procedures, and functions to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze and improve database structures by identifying opportunities for performance optimization and scalability.
• Translate complex business rules into efficient database solutions aligned with technical requirements.
• Perform database tuning activities, including index optimization, statistics analysis, execution plan improvements, locking management, and deadlock resolution.
• Support development teams with data modeling guidance and best practices for database access.
• Ensure the integrity, consistency, availability, and security of critical information.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance database performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SQL Server 2016 or newer versions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Experience with indexes, execution plans, and high-performance stored procedures.
• Proven experience handling large volumes of data and complex database operations.
• Solid understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking mechanisms, and deadlocks.
• Experience implementing business rules directly within database environments.
• Knowledge of database scalability strategies, including table partitioning, is a plus.
• Experience with distributed architectures such as microservices is desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud database environments such as Azure, AWS, or OCI is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, strong communication skills, teamwork, organization, proactivity, and a results-oriented approach.
