Analista de Suporte Sênior (foco em Zabbix)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Support Analyst (Zabbix focus) based in Brazil.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of enterprise observability environments, with a strong focus on Zabbix as the core monitoring platform. You will act as a technical reference for complex support scenarios, helping ensure infrastructure and application availability across large-scale corporate systems. The position involves deep hands-on work with monitoring architecture, event management, and performance optimization, while also collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners. You will contribute to the evolution of observability practices by improving dashboards, triggers, alerts, and automated monitoring solutions. In addition, you will participate in critical incident response activities, including war rooms and root cause analysis, ensuring continuous service improvement. This is a highly technical and mission-critical role where precision, ownership, and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Accountabilities:

• Administer, maintain, and evolve enterprise observability environments based on Zabbix, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of monitoring systems.
• Act as a 3rd-level technical reference for monitoring infrastructure, supporting internal teams, partners, and critical incident resolution activities.
• Design, improve, and optimize monitoring components such as templates, triggers, dashboards, discovery rules, alerts, escalations, and integrations.
• Participate in incident management, war rooms, and root cause analysis, proposing corrective actions and new monitoring strategies.
• Develop advanced monitoring solutions using Zabbix features such as LLD, preprocessing, APIs, and custom scripts when needed.
• Monitor and optimize Zabbix infrastructure components including server, proxies, database, agents, and related performance layers.

Requirements:

• Strong experience administering large-scale, complex Zabbix environments (6,000+ NVPS/VPS or equivalent scale).
• Advanced knowledge of Zabbix architecture, including server, proxies, agents, database, SNMP, IPMI, and monitoring workflows.
• Solid expertise in Low-Level Discovery (LLD), including prototypes, filters, overrides, and dynamic monitoring setups.
• Strong experience with preprocessing, metric transformation, custom expressions, and reduction of false positives.
• Proficiency in Zabbix API for automation, integrations, and bulk configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB, including performance tuning, queries, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting critical production environments, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with observability concepts, SLA-driven operations, and ITIL processes.
• English at intermediate level for technical reading and documentation.
• Nice to have: Python, Shell Script, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, ServiceNow, or Jira integrations.
