This senior-level opportunity is ideal for a cloud specialist passionate about designing resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions in highly strategic environments. In this role, you will lead cloud architecture initiatives focused primarily on Microsoft Azure while collaborating across multicloud ecosystems including AWS and Google Cloud. You will contribute directly to the modernization and optimization of critical digital environments, ensuring high availability, operational efficiency, and business continuity. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies, automation practices, DevOps culture, and AI-ready infrastructures. Accountabilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable and high-performance cloud architectures within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Manage and improve cloud resources related to computing, networking, storage, and security.
• Implement infrastructure security practices including IAM, firewalls, policies, and monitoring solutions.
• Ensure cloud environments follow industry best practices and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar tools.
• Configure and manage containerized and serverless environments, including AKS and Azure Functions.
• Participate in multicloud projects integrating Azure with AWS and Google Cloud services.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to deliver efficient, secure, and automated cloud solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and contribute to continuous infrastructure improvements.
• Design and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies to ensure service resilience and availability.
• Plan and execute failover and failback strategies using Azure Site Recovery and related technologies.
• Implement backup and recovery solutions using Azure Backup and disaster recovery best practices.
• Ensure resilience of AI-related services and workloads through regional replication and high-availability strategies.
• Automate disaster recovery testing processes without impacting production operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a cloud specialist or senior cloud engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure services, including:
  • Compute services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, and AKS.
  • Storage solutions including Blob Storage, Disk Storage, and Azure Files.
  • Networking components such as VNet, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, and DNS.
  • Security services including Azure AD, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and NSGs.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform or equivalent technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of multicloud environments, with practical experience in AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong experience designing and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup solutions.
  • Experience designing highly available and resilient architectures across multiple regions and cloud providers.
  • Familiarity with replication and failover strategies for AI-related services and workloads.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305 are considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and autonomous decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Technologist degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas.
