This role is centered on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital products through structured testing practices and a strong quality engineering mindset. You will work closely with development teams in an agile environment to understand system behavior, identify potential issues, and validate that software meets functional and technical expectations. The position requires the ability to build a mental model of complex applications and proactively explore edge cases and system limitations. You will also contribute to test automation initiatives when applicable, helping increase efficiency and coverage across releases. Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring software quality through structured testing approaches, close collaboration with development teams, and continuous improvement of QA practices.

• Design, execute, and maintain functional and exploratory test cases to validate software behavior and requirements
• Analyze application architecture and build a mental model of system behavior to identify risks and edge cases
• Collaborate with development and product teams in agile ceremonies to ensure quality is embedded throughout the lifecycle
• Perform manual and automated testing activities, contributing to test automation when applicable
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams for resolution
• Support regression testing cycles to ensure system stability across releases
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Validate system performance and reliability from a user and technical perspective
• Ensure software quality aligns with business requirements and technical specifications

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented QA professional with experience in agile environments, strong analytical thinking, and solid knowledge of software testing practices.

• Degree (or equivalent higher education) in Information Technology or related fields
• Proven experience as a Mid-Level Test Analyst (Analista de Testes Pleno) in agile environments
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and QA best practices
• Ability to interpret system behavior and build structured mental models of applications
• Experience with both manual testing and exposure to test automation practices
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and agile development workflows
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• At least one software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB, QAI, ALATS, IBQTS, or IIST)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional development and product teams
