This role is designed for an experienced QA professional who is passionate about ensuring software quality, reliability, and user satisfaction.
You will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies across complex technology solutions.
The position involves collaborating closely with product and development teams to validate requirements and improve delivery processes.

Accountabilities:

The role focuses on planning, executing, and improving software testing activities to ensure high-quality technology deliveries. The professional will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support agile development cycles, and contribute to building reliable and secure applications through effective quality assurance practices.

• Plan, design, and execute test scenarios, scripts, and validation strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, load/stress, and security testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Identify, document, analyze, and track defects while supporting resolution processes with development teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams to define acceptance criteria and validate user stories.
• Participate in requirement reviews, refinements, sprint activities, and testing cycles throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define testing strategies, including test coverage, target areas, and appropriate validation approaches.
• Evaluate testing results and recommend continuous improvements to processes, tools, and quality standards.
• Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, execution evidence, scripts, and test data environments.
• Use test management, automation, and defect tracking tools to improve efficiency and traceability.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts, including executions with variable data sets.
• Assess non-functional requirements related to performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Conduct security analysis, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements to strengthen applications.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced QA professional with strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in technology environments. The role requires expertise in software testing methodologies, automation practices, and quality assurance processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience working with software testing processes and quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience designing and executing functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests.
• Knowledge of test automation practices and tools for improving software validation.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks, and create effective testing strategies.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve defects.
• Experience working in agile environments, participating in sprints, refinements, and delivery cycles.
• Familiarity with test documentation, defect management, and quality metrics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Possession of at least one relevant certification, such as:
  • ATC – Certified Test Analyst from IBQTS (Brazilian Institute of Software Testing Quality).
  • CBTS – Brazilian Software Testing Certification from ALATS or equivalent certifications.
  • CTFL – Certified Tester Foundation Level.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
