Analista DevOps

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista DevOps based in Brazil.

This is a remote DevOps opportunity focused on operating and continuously improving a multi-client Kubernetes platform serving public-sector organizations.
You will be responsible for production deployments, cluster health, incident response, security, access management, and platform reliability.
The role combines hands-on infrastructure work with automation, observability, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
You will work across Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, databases, networking, monitoring, and security tooling.
The position is open to different levels of seniority, with increasing autonomy and technical leadership expected at more advanced levels.
You will have meaningful ownership of production environments while collaborating with development and technology teams.

Accountabilities

• Execute and coordinate production changes (GMUD), including client-specific deployments and version upgrades, with appropriate planning, rollback procedures, and documented evidence.

• Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting pods, probes, resource capacity, autoscaling, and upgrades.

• Maintain and evolve GitOps deployment workflows and database migration processes using tools such as Flyway.

• Respond to technical incidents and customer support requests, investigating root causes and implementing appropriate remediation.

• Maintain certificates, DNS, ingress, and core platform components such as Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, and MinIO.

• Manage identities and access across tools including Keycloak, Rancher, GitLab, and VPN environments, following approval and least-privilege practices.

• Remediate security vulnerabilities and migrate sensitive credentials and secrets into appropriate vaulting solutions.

• Automate recurring operational activities and standardize environments to reduce manual work and improve consistency.

• Improve monitoring and alerting capabilities to identify and address issues before they affect end users.

• Support FinOps initiatives by monitoring costs at the cluster level and identifying rightsizing opportunities.

• Use AI tools to improve operational speed and efficiency while validating outputs and maintaining technical quality.

• Document technical decisions, operational procedures, runbooks, incident resolutions, and implemented changes.

Requirements

• Professional experience or practical training in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or a closely related technical area; practical training may be considered for junior-level candidates.

• Solid knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals, including DNS, HTTP, TLS, and certificates.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Experience with Kubernetes, with the expected level of autonomy and complexity varying according to seniority.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD platforms, particularly GitLab or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, or comparable tools.

• Ability to script or program using Python, Shell, or similar languages.

• Experience with at least one cloud environment, such as OCI, AWS, or an equivalent platform.

• Strong written communication skills and discipline in maintaining technical records and evidence.

• Regular use of AI tools in day-to-day technical operations.

• Strong ownership mindset, taking responsibility for the security, reliability, and performance of production environments.

• Ability to remain calm and focused during critical incidents while prioritizing resolution and clear communication.

• Security-conscious approach focused on automation and practical compliance rather than unnecessary bureaucracy.

• Collaborative mindset with willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to technical standards.

Additional experience that can strengthen your profile:

• Experience with Flux or ArgoCD, Kustomize/Helm, or Rancher.

• Experience with Flyway and Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.

• Experience supporting Java/JVM applications running in containers.

• Familiarity with Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Redis.

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Knowledge of Vault, External Secrets, and security tooling integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

• CKA, CKAD, CKS, OCI, AWS, or comparable certifications.

• Experience working in regulated environments or the public sector.

• Experience applying AI to operations, including agents, automated triage, or log analysis.
