This role is designed for a data-driven professional who acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. You will be responsible for translating business needs into clear data requirements, ensuring that metrics are correctly defined, modeled, and tracked across analytical solutions. Working in a collaborative and innovation-oriented environment, you will help shape how data is structured and consumed to support strategic decision-making. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, reliability, and usability of business metrics across multiple projects. You will engage closely with technical and functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals and data architecture. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business analysis, data modeling, and governance in a fast-evolving data ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data projects, with a strong focus on business metrics mapping.
• Translate business needs into structured data models and ensure alignment with systems and processes.
• Define, document, and maintain business metrics, ensuring consistency and traceability across solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers and development teams to ensure correct implementation of analytical solutions.
• Validate and test data solutions to ensure metrics are accurate, reliable, and properly monitored.
• Support users and stakeholders in understanding and using data solutions and business metrics.
• Monitor and optimize data solutions performance, ensuring data quality and governance standards.
• Stay updated on data analytics, BI, and governance practices to continuously improve solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Information Technology, Statistics, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and metrics mapping.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, documentation, and business metric definition.
• Experience with SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Understanding of data governance principles and analytical frameworks.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with BI tools, data mining, or software development is a plus.
