Analyst – Verification & Validation (V&V)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst – Verification & Validation (V&V) based in Brazil.

This role is focused on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of large-scale data pipelines that power global digital advertising systems. You will play a key part in validating how data flows through complex platforms, confirming that algorithms and business rules operate as expected across high-volume environments. Working within a fast-paced, technical operations team, you will collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders to detect issues, validate system behavior, and support continuous improvements. The position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a structured but dynamic environment with rotating schedules. You will contribute directly to the stability of mission-critical systems used by major global advertising channels. This is a highly operational and impact-driven role where precision and accountability are essential.

Accountabilities:

• Perform daily verification of system functionality and ensure that data pipelines, algorithms, and processing logic are operating correctly and consistently.
• Validate that data is accurately received, transformed, and calculated across multiple advertising and analytics platforms.
• Monitor system changes, analyze their impact on data outputs, reports, and business rules, and ensure operational stability.
• Identify, document, and escalate system inconsistencies, bugs, or failures, working closely with engineering and product teams for resolution.
• Execute validation of new features, products, and updates, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
• Provide technical support through ticket management, prioritization, and resolution of operational issues.
• Work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, ensuring continuous system oversight and reliability.

Requirements:

• Experience with SQL for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and operational reporting.
• Solid analytical mindset with the ability to understand system logic and business rules.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing based on urgency and business impact.
• High sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability in critical operational environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency for operational communication and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to rotating schedules.
• Nice to have: experience with Databricks or similar data platforms, QA or data quality roles, basic programming logic, or technical support experience.
