This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner based in Brazil.

The Product Owner will play a key role in transforming product initiatives into high-quality software solutions across a diverse portfolio of vertical market applications.
This role combines product strategy, execution, customer understanding, and delivery leadership to bring ideas from definition to launch.
You will work closely with developers, customers, and business stakeholders to shape requirements, prioritize value, and ensure successful outcomes.
The position involves working across both traditional software products and AI-driven solutions in a fast-moving technology environment.

Accountabilities:

The Product Owner will be responsible for managing product initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring teams have clear direction and stakeholders remain aligned throughout the process.

• Own defined product initiatives from planning through execution, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Quickly understand new product domains and collaborate with customers and business stakeholders to capture business needs and operational context.
• Define MVP scope by identifying the smallest release that delivers meaningful customer value and planning future iterations.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and development specifications.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes that accurately represent product experiences and align teams around expected outcomes.
• Manage daily delivery activities with development teams, ensuring progress visibility and proactively addressing blockers and risks.
• Build, prioritize, and maintain development-ready backlogs aligned with business priorities.
• Support sprint planning, testing activities, product demonstrations, and defect management.
• Coordinate communication between technical teams, customers, and business stakeholders.
• Apply AI tools and workflows to accelerate product discovery, documentation, prototyping, and delivery processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and delivery-focused product professional with experience managing software development initiatives and collaborating across multiple teams and domains.

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar product delivery role, writing requirements and supporting development teams.
• Proven experience defining MVPs and prioritizing backlogs based on customer value and technical constraints.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and priorities while maintaining delivery quality.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working closely with developers, customers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation, requirements, and prototypes.
• Experience adapting quickly to new industries, products, and complex business environments.
• Genuine interest and hands-on experience using AI tools to improve productivity and product workflows.
• Ability to leverage AI responsibly, validating outputs and ensuring quality before implementation.
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced/professional English skills for collaboration with local and international teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Design, Engineering, Technology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong AI fluency, including experience using AI tools for prototyping, backlog creation, development specifications, and workflow automation.
• Experience working with vertical software products or regulated and operationally complex industries.
• Experience creating AI-assisted workflows, agents, or productivity systems.
