This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and evolution of end-to-end software architectures within a highly innovative and collaborative technology environment. You will play a key role in defining scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for data-driven platforms, ensuring alignment between development, infrastructure, and business needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide technical decisions, establish architectural standards, and promote best practices across engineering squads. The position requires a strong balance between strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise, particularly in cloud-native environments. You will also contribute to improving system reliability, observability, and efficiency while ensuring long-term solution sustainability. Accountabilities:

• Lead technical direction for development teams, defining architectural standards, best practices, and design decisions
• Design and implement end-to-end software architecture for data management platforms with focus on scalability, performance, and security
• Produce detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration flows, API contracts, and system specifications
• Define development standards, version control practices, and CI/CD integration strategies
• Ensure adherence to cloud architecture best practices, including availability, resilience, and cost optimization
• Support the definition and execution of load, performance, and security testing strategies
• Evaluate and continuously improve system architecture to enhance quality, efficiency, and sustainability
• Align technical strategies across development, data, and infrastructure teams
• Define and support non-functional requirements such as security, observability, performance, and scalability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields
• Postgraduate degree in IT or equivalent combination of certifications (minimum 6 certifications in relevant areas or agile methodologies)
• Proven experience in end-to-end software architecture design
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles, preferably AWS
• Experience with performance, load, and scalability testing strategies
• Strong background in application security practices (SAST, DAST, Pentest)
• Experience designing and documenting APIs and service contracts
• Solid experience in technical leadership of development teams
• Hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI
• Experience with React and JavaScript
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to influence technical decisions
