This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistente de Carga Internacional based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to support international logistics operations and contribute to the smooth movement of global shipments.
You will coordinate with customers, overseas partners, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely cargo processes.
The position combines operational follow-up, document management, customer communication, and logistics coordination.
You will play an important role in monitoring shipments from origin through final delivery while ensuring compliance with procedures.

Accountabilities:

As an Assistente de Carga Internacional, you will support daily freight forwarding activities by coordinating shipment processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective communication between customers, agents, and operational teams.

• Communicate with customers and international agents to provide updates and support throughout shipment processes.
• Approve and monitor air and ocean shipment documentation, including bills of lading and transport documents.
• Follow up on shipment data submissions through required logistics platforms.
• Monitor cargo movements until final delivery, including transfers and transshipment processes.
• Review shipment documentation and prepare pre-alert notifications for customers and internal teams.
• Review, approve, and issue debit notes and credit notes when required.
• Update operational systems with shipment information and applicable fees.
• Provide proactive customer and partner support through email and phone communication.
• Maintain accurate information to support efficient logistics operations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple logistics activities while communicating effectively with customers and international partners.

• High school diploma required; ongoing higher education is preferred.
• Previous experience in freight forwarding or international logistics is desirable.
• Basic to intermediate English skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in operational activities.
• Dynamic, proactive, and collaborative approach to daily tasks.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Interest in developing knowledge of international cargo and supply chain operations.
