Certifications Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Certifications Manager based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale a growing portfolio of professional certifications within the luxury hospitality sector. You will operate as the product owner of the certification ecosystem, guiding programs from strategy and development through launch and continuous improvement. Working across learning, technology, content, analytics, marketing, and operations, you will create seamless and engaging experiences for learners worldwide. You will use market trends, learner feedback, and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on program execution and cross-functional leadership. It is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys turning ideas into scalable learning products and meaningful professional development experiences.

Accountabilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the certification portfolio in partnership with senior leadership, identifying opportunities for new credentials, specialization pathways, and continuing education.
• Own the full certification lifecycle, including enrollment, credential attainment, governance, standards, documentation, launches, updates, and ongoing program optimization.
• Manage certification content and assessment initiatives, partnering with instructional design teams on exams, study guides, learning resources, and candidate preparation materials.
• Ensure certification materials remain accurate, current, defensible, and aligned with program objectives while prioritizing content updates and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with LMS and technology teams to improve enrollment, onboarding, assessment, credentialing, and overall learner experiences.
• Establish engagement goals for the certification community and support continuing education initiatives such as webinars, masterclasses, thought leadership, and professional development programs.
• Work cross-functionally with learning, instructional design, operations, technology, marketing, commercial, sales, and partnership teams to execute strategic priorities and support go-to-market readiness.
• Monitor certification performance, learner behavior, engagement, retention, and feedback, using insights to recommend improvements and identify growth opportunities.
• Communicate roadmap updates, program enhancements, priorities, and performance insights clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, product management, learning and development, education, certifications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Strong project management, organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling materials for diverse audiences.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed operational execution and maintain ownership across multiple initiatives.
• Experience collaborating effectively across multiple business functions and managing competing priorities.
• Experience with certification, credentialing, assessment, or educational programs is highly valuable.
• Familiarity with instructional design, adult learning principles, LMS platforms, or learner experience optimization is a plus.
• Experience with community engagement, membership programs, professional development, hospitality, luxury services, or workforce education is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data, reporting, learner feedback, and performance metrics to drive decisions.
• A product-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, build roadmaps, and continuously improve programs.
