Commercial Transactional Lawyer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Commercial Transactional Lawyer based in Mexico.

Accountabilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, service agreements, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, and joint ventures.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements under applicable Australian laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure agreements align with business objectives and support operational goals.
- Support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations, through legal due diligence and preparation of relevant documentation.
- Analyze business strategies and decisions from a legal perspective, providing practical recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in commercial legislation, regulations, and contract law developments.
- Manage legal matters independently while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, or a related legal field.
- Strong knowledge of Australian contract law, commercial regulations, and business practices.
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide variety of commercial agreements.
- Ability to assess legal risks and provide practical, business-focused recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and business stakeholders.
- Previous experience working remotely or with distributed global teams is considered an advantage.
