Compliance Analyst

This role sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and emerging digital asset oversight, supporting a fast-evolving and globally connected environment. The Compliance Analyst will play a key part in ensuring adherence to AML/CFT standards, internal policies, and international regulatory frameworks. You will contribute to the review and analysis of financial and transactional data, helping identify risks, inconsistencies, and potential compliance gaps. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional and distributed teams, requiring clarity in communication and strong analytical thinking. You will also support documentation, reporting, and remediation efforts that strengthen the organization’s control environment. This is a detail-driven role where curiosity, accountability, and precision directly support risk reduction and regulatory alignment.
Accountabilities:
- Conduct detailed reviews of financial documents, transactions, and compliance reports to detect anomalies, inconsistencies, and potential risks.
- Support AML/CFT, KYC/CDD processes while ensuring alignment with FATF, OFAC, FinCEN, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Assist in risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and the development of remediation recommendations.
- Prepare clear compliance documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones to ensure timely and accurate compliance operations.
- Stay informed on evolving regulations and digital asset compliance trends, applying updates to daily work.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial and client data.
- Experience in compliance-related roles, including exposure to both domestic and international regulatory environments.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC/CDD frameworks and global regulatory standards such as FATF, OFAC, and FinCEN.
- Familiarity with blockchain or transaction monitoring tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic) is highly preferred.
- Experience with onboarding automation and internal compliance systems is a strong advantage.
- Ability to analyze transactional data and support migration from legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving orientation.
- Excellent English communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Availability to work 20–30 hours per week and operate in a distributed work environment.
