Consultor Especialista SAP CAR Sr.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor Especialista SAP CAR Sr. based in Brazil.

This role is designed for an experienced SAP CAR specialist who will act as a technical and functional reference in retail technology environments.
You will support the evolution of sales, inventory, and omnichannel processes by ensuring seamless integration between business systems.
The position focuses on implementing, optimizing, and sustaining SAP CAR solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.
You will collaborate with business teams, technical stakeholders, and external partners to deliver scalable solutions.
This opportunity requires strong expertise in SAP Retail processes, integrations, and data-driven decision-making.
You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting critical systems in a fully remote environment.

Accountabilities:

• Act as a technical and functional reference for SAP CAR solutions, supporting implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the integration and reliability of sales and inventory data across POS systems, ERP platforms, and other business applications.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize POSDTA (Point of Sale Data Transfer and Audit) processes.
• Implement and support SAP CAR capabilities, including Omnichannel Article Availability (OAA) and Unified Demand Forecast (UDF).
• Support business teams in analyzing sales data, customer behavior, and operational insights.
• Define, validate, and maintain integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, CRM platforms, ecommerce solutions, and other connected systems.
• Provide second- and third-level support, resolving incidents and contributing to system improvements.
• Create technical and functional documentation while supporting knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues and develop new SAP CAR functionalities.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the continuous evolution of retail technology solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SAP CAR implementations, support, and solution improvements.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CAR components, including POSDTA, OAA (Omnichannel Article Availability), UDF (Unified Demand Forecast), DDF (Demand Data Foundation), Inventory Visibility, and Real-Time Sales Analytics.
• Experience integrating SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments.
• Solid understanding of retail data models, including articles, stores, promotions, sales, and inventory processes.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Intermediate to advanced English skills for technical documentation and communication.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, SLT, and ABAP debugging is considered a plus.
• Previous experience working in retail, consumer goods, or ecommerce environments is desirable.
