This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor SAP Basis Especialista based in Brazil.

This is a specialized SAP Basis opportunity focused on modernizing and maintaining critical SAP infrastructure in a demanding industrial environment. You will contribute to an operating-system upgrade project involving new installations and server replacements across SAP landscapes. The role combines SUSE administration, high-availability architecture, disaster-recovery testing, performance analysis, and technical troubleshooting. You will work with technologies such as SUSE SLES for SAP, HAWK/Pacemaker, SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and HANA Replication. Your expertise will help ensure resilient, secure, and high-performing SAP environments throughout the project lifecycle. The position is well suited to a hands-on specialist who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and documenting robust technical solutions.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and support operating-system upgrade activities for SAP environments, including new installations and server replacements.
• Install, configure, administer, and upgrade SUSE SLES for SAP environments.
• Redesign and configure HAWK/Pacemaker clusters to support high availability across SAP infrastructure.
• Plan and execute high-availability and disaster-recovery tests, validating the resilience and recovery capabilities of critical environments.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot SUSE platforms supporting SAP workloads throughout the project.
• Support SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java environments running on SUSE infrastructure.
• Support SAP HANA environments and related HANA Replication configurations.
• Analyze system performance, identify infrastructure issues, and implement effective troubleshooting and remediation strategies.
• Configure and maintain SUSE Manager Server where required.
• Produce clear and accurate technical documentation covering configurations, procedures, tests, and operational activities.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure infrastructure changes are implemented safely and consistently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP infrastructure reliability, availability, and operational processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing, configuring, administering, and upgrading SUSE SLES for SAP environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of HAWK/Pacemaker cluster configuration for high-availability SAP environments.
• Experience supporting SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stacks on SUSE.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA on SUSE and experience with SAP HANA Replication.
• Strong troubleshooting, administration, and performance-analysis skills across SUSE Linux Enterprise for SAP environments.
• Ability to work independently on complex infrastructure challenges while collaborating effectively with project and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Good documentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical procedures and solutions.
• Experience configuring or upgrading SUSE Manager Server is considered an advantage.
• SUSE Certified Engineer (SCE) in SLES for SAP Applications certification is a strong plus.
• A continuous-learning mindset and willingness to keep developing expertise across SAP infrastructure and related technologies.
