Content Writer (Freelance)

The role offers variety across blog posts, articles, website copy, social media content, and other formats. Accountabilities

• Create compelling, engaging, and informative content for a variety of digital channels and audiences.
• Write blog posts, articles, website copy, social media updates, and other content formats based on assigned briefs and objectives.
• Adapt tone, style, structure, and messaging to suit different platforms, target audiences, and communication goals.
• Develop content that supports brand visibility, audience engagement, and broader marketing objectives.
• Research relevant topics and gather reliable information to ensure content is accurate, useful, and relevant.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand content requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver work aligned with expectations.
• Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, consistency, readability, and overall quality.
• Manage freelance assignments independently, organize priorities, and deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain a consistent and professional writing standard across different content types and projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, Journalist, Blogger, or in a similar professional writing role.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar, spelling, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality content for multiple formats, platforms, and audiences.
• Strong ability to adapt writing style and tone according to the subject matter, audience, and communication channel.
• Excellent research skills and the ability to turn complex or broad topics into clear, accessible, and engaging content.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Creativity and curiosity, with the ability to generate fresh ideas and engaging perspectives.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant writing experience and versatility across content formats is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital content, social media, SEO, or online publishing practices is a plus.
