Credit Assessment Analyst

You will be responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness, analyzing payment behavior, and ensuring credit limits align with internal risk policies. The position involves close collaboration with commercial and operational teams to support informed decision-making and maintain healthy credit exposure across the customer base. You will also conduct financial and reference analysis to validate customer reliability and strengthen credit governance processes. This is a highly analytical role where attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear communication directly contribute to business performance and risk mitigation. Accountabilities:
- Conduct recurring reviews of customer credit limits, ensuring alignment with internal credit risk policies and business needs.
- Analyze customer payment behavior, financial data, and overall credit exposure to identify risk trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Recommend adjustments to credit terms based on structured financial and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and respond to credit-related business requests.
- Perform trade and bank reference checks to support credit assessments and validate customer reliability.
- Document credit evaluations, decisions, and recommendations in a clear and consistent manner.
- Support internal and external stakeholders with credit-related inquiries and clarifications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit assessment processes and risk management practices.
- 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, finance, or related analytical roles.
- Strong ability to interpret financial statements, payment behavior, and credit exposure metrics.
- Experience reviewing credit limits and conducting structured risk assessments.
- Familiarity with trade and bank reference analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace tools.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
