Data Analytics Consulting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analytics Consultant based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and client-facing consulting, focusing on transforming complex energy billing and procurement data into accurate, actionable insights. You will work in a highly analytical environment where precision, structure, and problem-solving are essential to ensure billing accuracy and contractual compliance. The position involves close interaction with suppliers, utilities, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain high-quality operational data. You will also support process optimization and contribute to improving analytical tools and reporting frameworks. This is a detail-oriented role with real operational impact, where your work directly supports financial accuracy and service reliability for clients across different markets. Accountabilities:

• Process and validate supplier invoices, ensuring accurate entry into databases and compliance with contractual and operational standards.
• Maintain and update contract and energy billing information for assigned geographic or client portfolios.
• Analyze energy consumption and billing data using standardized analytical tools across different time intervals (hourly, daily, monthly).
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by liaising with suppliers, utilities, and internal teams in a structured and professional manner.
• Review and escalate exceptions identified through statistical or automated validation systems when necessary.
• Support the operations team by improving reporting processes, workflow tracking, and data quality management.
• Communicate findings and updates clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in data analysis, business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in analytical, operations, or data-focused roles (energy sector experience is a plus).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret contracts, billing structures, and operational datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer tools for data handling and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity and willingness to investigate and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain technical or analytical findings.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a structured workflow environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and stakeholders.
