DBA | Ambiente Multicloud

This role is designed for a highly skilled database specialist who will operate in complex, mission-critical environments across multicloud architectures. The professional will ensure the stability, performance, and security of database platforms that support large-scale digital operations. Acting as a technical reference point, the DBA will collaborate closely with Cloud, SRE, Security, and Data Engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement. The position requires a strong balance between deep technical expertise and a strategic, holistic understanding of infrastructure and business needs. In a fast-paced and innovation-driven context, this role plays a key part in modernizing data platforms and enabling operational excellence. Accountabilities:

• Administer, maintain, and evolve database environments across multicloud architectures, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents with an end-to-end infrastructure and application perspective.
• Implement performance tuning strategies, capacity planning, and preventive actions to ensure system stability.
• Manage backup, restore, and Disaster Recovery processes, including execution and validation of recovery tests.
• Execute patches, upgrades, and version updates across different database technologies.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Cloud, SRE, Security, and Data Engineering teams as a technical reference for database architecture.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and data governance standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in multicloud environments, with mandatory hands-on expertise in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) combined with AWS or Azure in the same project.
• Strong senior-level experience with Oracle Database administration and optimization.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL databases at a mid to senior level.
• Experience managing, supporting, and evolving mission-critical database environments.
• Strong background in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Expertise in backup, restore, Disaster Recovery strategies, and recovery testing.
• Experience with observability, monitoring tools, and operational automation.
• Knowledge of database security, access management, and compliance best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude, and excellent communication skills.
• (Differential) Experience with multiple relational and NoSQL database engines.
• (Differential) Exposure to regulated environments such as LGPD, PCI, or ISO 27001.
• (Differential) Strong focus on automation and operational toil reduction.
• (Differential) Strategic vision connecting infrastructure, applications, and business outcomes.
• (Differential) Experience with continuous modernization of data platforms.
