This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deployment Engineer (f/m/d) based in Mexico.

This is a hands-on technical deployment role focused on delivering and integrating cloud-native telecommunications solutions for enterprise clients. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth and reliable deployments across lab, test, and production environments, working at the intersection of engineering, networking, and customer delivery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with pre-sales, product, and development teams to translate client requirements into robust technical implementations. You will work in a highly technical, fast-evolving environment where automation, scalability, and operational excellence are central to success. The position offers the opportunity to work with modern Kubernetes-based architectures and telecom-grade systems while contributing directly to customer success and platform stability. This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys deep technical problem-solving and customer-facing impact in a cloud-native infrastructure context.


Accountabilities

  • Deliver end-to-end deployment of cloud-native telecom solutions, including high-level and low-level design, integration, and production rollout.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain lab, testing, staging, and production environments for customer deployments.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure and cloud-native applications.
  • Drive automation initiatives across deployment and operational workflows to improve speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitor, maintain, and update deployed systems to ensure high availability and operational stability.
  • Provide second-line technical support, including incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue classification.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to manage technical requirements, coordinate requests, and ensure smooth communication flow.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment processes and operational efficiency.
  • Support network and system integration tasks across complex telecom and cloud environments.
  • Requirements

    • Strong experience working with Linux systems, including installation, administration, and operational support.
    • Solid understanding of complex networking concepts, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing.
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration in production or large-scale environments.
    • Experience in debugging and network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
    • Familiarity with telecommunications technologies such as 4G, 5G, and IMS is highly desirable.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical incidents efficiently.
    • Comfortable working in customer-facing technical roles with coordination responsibilities.
    • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and virtualization technologies is a plus.
    • Knowledge of signaling protocols such as SIP or Diameter is considered an advantage.
    • Strong ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional, and distributed environments.
