This role is focused on building and evolving robust web applications in a dynamic and innovation-driven environment. You will work on the development of scalable backend solutions using PHP, contributing to system architecture, integrations, and performance improvements. The position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments to deliver high-quality digital products. You will play an active role in maintaining APIs, optimizing existing systems, and ensuring best practices in software engineering are applied consistently. Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and evolve web applications using PHP, ensuring scalability, performance, and code quality.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and design patterns to build robust and maintainable solutions.
• Implement and consume REST and SOAP web services to support system integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with relational databases using SQL.
• Create and maintain API documentation using tools such as Swagger.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and contribute to code refactoring and system improvements.
• Participate in agile development processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Use Git for version control and collaborative software development.
• Contribute to technical discussions and propose continuous improvements to systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or postgraduate qualification in IT.
• Solid professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns in PHP.
• Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in team-oriented environments.
• Nice to have: experience with Keycloak, CI/CD practices, Elasticsearch, Linux environments, or Apache Kafka.
