Desenvolvedor Backend

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Desenvolvedor Backend in Brazil.

This role is part of a high-impact product engineering team focused on building and evolving scalable backend systems that power mobility and delivery solutions across Brazil. The developer will contribute to systems that operate at massive scale, supporting hundreds of millions of rides and deliveries annually. You will work in a 100% remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment where engineering quality and product thinking go hand in hand. The position involves designing robust APIs, improving system performance, and ensuring high availability across critical services. You will also participate in architectural decisions and contribute to the continuous evolution of backend platforms. Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP and Go, ensuring performance, scalability, and code quality in high-availability environments.
• Support deployment and stability across development, staging, and production environments, monitoring system behavior and resolving production issues.
• Contribute to database modeling and SQL optimization to ensure efficient data structures and reliable system performance.
• Participate actively in product squads, proposing improvements and technical solutions to enhance mobility and delivery platforms.
• Identify system improvements to increase robustness, scalability, and overall user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment focused on continuous delivery and product evolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in backend development, testing, and maintenance of web applications in high-availability environments.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Go, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling best practices.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs in production systems.
• Strong logical reasoning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams with transparency, accountability, and focus on results.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and work on complex, challenging systems.
• Nice to have: experience applying artificial intelligence in software development workflows.
