Designer Especialista I

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Designer Especialista I based in Brazil.

This role is focused on creating innovative and impactful point-of-sale experiences that connect brand identity, customer experience, and business strategy.
You will lead the development of store displays, beauty fixtures, and visual solutions from concept creation through implementation across retail environments.
The position combines creative vision, project management, technical expertise, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
You will transform strategic concepts into tangible solutions by balancing design quality, operational feasibility, costs, and deadlines.
Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will influence how customers experience products and brands in physical retail spaces.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the creation of makeup and skincare displays, fixtures, and point-of-sale materials for strategic brands and retail initiatives.
• Manage display updates and seasonal cycles, incorporating new product launches while maintaining brand consistency and execution quality.
• Drive projects end-to-end, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, suppliers, prototypes, approvals, and store implementation.
• Integrate and collaborate with partner teams including Category, Branding, Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Exposure Strategy.
• Develop new suppliers, evaluate prototypes, ensure quality standards, and support successful rollout across retail locations.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to established deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Apply a holistic project management approach, balancing creative vision, business objectives, manufacturing feasibility, logistics, costs, and timelines.
• Build and improve processes from the ground up, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and better project execution.
• Analyze data and create structured reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools to support decision-making and project management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related fields.
• Practical experience creating furniture, displays, fixtures, and point-of-sale materials for retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, from creative concept development to engineering, supplier development, cost management, and store rollout.
• Experience working collaboratively with Procurement, Commercial, Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Category, Branding, and Strategy teams.
• Advanced proficiency with design and modeling tools, especially SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, manage budgets, and track project timelines.
• Experience with agile methodologies and structured project management practices.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while balancing cost, deadlines, and creative requirements.
• Strong resilience, ownership mindset, and proactive approach to improving processes and proposing solutions.
• Ability to navigate between brand aesthetics and manufacturing/logistical constraints.
