Designer UX/UI (SR)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Designer UX/UI (SR) based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to shape digital products by creating intuitive, impactful, and user-centered experiences.
You will lead the design process from understanding user needs and defining problems to delivering polished interfaces.
The position combines UX research, interaction design, prototyping, and collaboration with agile product teams.
You will help transform business challenges into meaningful digital solutions that improve customer experiences.
Working closely with product owners, developers, and multidisciplinary squads, you will influence product strategy and execution.

Accountabilities

The Designer UX/UI (SR) will be responsible for leading UX and UI initiatives, ensuring that digital products deliver consistent, accessible, and user-focused experiences aligned with business goals.

• Conduct user research through interviews, usability tests, and data analysis to support design decisions.
• Map user journeys, workflows, and information architecture to improve product experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and final high-fidelity interfaces using modern design practices.
• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
• Collaborate with agile squads, participating in refinements, planning sessions, and alignment meetings with Product Owners and developers.
• Validate design hypotheses through usability testing, feedback analysis, and usage metrics.
• Partner with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
• Advocate for UX best practices and promote user-centered design principles across teams.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into effective, scalable design solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a senior UX/UI professional with strong experience designing digital products, conducting research, and collaborating with agile technology teams.

• Solid senior-level experience in UX/UI Design, with a portfolio demonstrating the complete design process from problem discovery to final solution.
• Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems.
• Strong knowledge of usability principles, accessibility, interaction design, and user-centered methodologies.
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and collaborating within product squads.
• Ability to translate business objectives and user requirements into effective design solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present and defend design decisions using data and clear reasoning.
• Experience with B2B products, fintech, logistics, or payment platforms is considered a plus.
• Availability to travel when required.
• Experience working in remote environments is preferred.
