This is a senior engineering role within a fast-growing SaaS environment focused on transforming the restaurant and food service industry through technology. You will contribute to the development of a highly scalable platform used by thousands of businesses across Brazil, directly impacting critical daily operations such as sales, delivery, and restaurant management. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and evolve scalable platform features using modern backend and frontend technologies, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, supporting distributed, event-driven, and microservices-based systems.
- Develop and maintain robust APIs and integrations between services, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
- Implement and promote best practices in software engineering, including automated testing, observability, and monitoring.
- Participate in production deployments and ensure system stability during releases and ongoing operations.
- Act as a technical reference within the team, supporting agile practices and helping spread a strong engineering culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions, refine requirements, and ensure continuous delivery.
- Strong experience (5+ years) as a Full Stack or Senior Backend Engineer in scalable SaaS or platform environments.
- Proficiency with Node.js and AngularJS, with solid experience in building production-grade applications.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in distributed and containerized environments.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems design.
- Experience with API design, integration patterns, and software architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with Git (Bitbucket), CI/CD workflows, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for production systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related fields (completed or in progress).
- Nice to have: experience with Redis, LoopBack 4, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK), event-driven systems, and exposure to AI/ML concepts.
- PJ contract with 30 days of paid rest.
