This role is part of a data-driven environment focused on building scalable solutions that transform large volumes of data into strategic insights for business and advanced analytics. You will work at the core of data engineering initiatives, designing and maintaining pipelines, integrations, and cloud-based data architectures that support both data science models and business intelligence use cases. The position requires strong collaboration with data science, analytics, and business teams to ensure data availability, quality, and usability. You will be responsible for handling complex datasets, enabling real-time and batch processing, and ensuring data is structured for performance and scalability. The environment is dynamic and innovation-oriented, with strong emphasis on autonomy, ownership, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on engineering role with direct impact on how data is leveraged to drive business decisions and competitive advantage.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation of large and complex datasets.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to integrate multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Support data modeling initiatives and ensure data is structured to support analytics, BI, and data science use cases.
• Work with cloud-based data architectures, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability of data systems.
• Implement and maintain data infrastructure components, including storage, processing, and orchestration layers.
• Collaborate with data science, analytics, and business teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security practices are applied across all data workflows.
• Participate in agile development processes, contributing to continuous improvement and technical evolution of data platforms.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in Data Engineering, including development and maintenance of data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages for data processing such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Knowledge of data architecture, distributed processing, and big data environments.
• Familiarity with data orchestration and processing tools such as Spark and Airflow (nice to have).
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and analytics infrastructure.
• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
