Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks and distributed data processing technologies.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Python and Apache Spark.
• Support the implementation and governance of data environments using Unity Catalog and modern data management practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data integration, processing, and delivery across platforms.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline deployment processes, contributing to automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Work within agile methodologies such as Scrum, actively participating in ceremonies and collaborative delivery processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality, scalability, and platform performance.
• Support best practices in data engineering, documentation, monitoring, and technical collaboration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer working with modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Apache Spark for data engineering and distributed computing.
• Experience working with Unity Catalog or similar data governance and cataloging solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines and DevOps-oriented development practices.
• Experience working in agile environments using Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in collaborative and dynamic teams.
• Good communication skills and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Experience with scalable data architectures, automation, and cloud ecosystems is considered a plus.
