This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenheiro de IA Generativa Pleno based in Brazil.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a mid-level AI and software professional to build intelligent applications, automations, integrations, and AI agents that support the evolution of internal audit capabilities. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, data, cloud technologies, and Generative AI to develop practical solutions with organization-wide impact. The role involves building APIs and microservices, developing agent tools and skills, creating conversational interfaces, and automating data-driven workflows. You will collaborate closely with senior AI engineers and architects while gaining exposure to modern AI development practices and cloud-native technologies. Your work will help reduce manual effort, improve continuous monitoring, and enable faster, more data-driven audit processes. This position is ideal for someone curious, proactive, collaborative, and excited to deepen their expertise in Generative AI.

Accountabilities:

• Develop RESTful APIs and Python-based microservices, preferably using FastAPI, to support AI agents and automation workflows while following clean-code principles and platform engineering standards.
• Develop, test, and maintain skills and tools for intelligent agents, integrating external APIs and systems such as application logs, Jira, and messaging platforms to expand automated audit capabilities.
• Build agile and intuitive frontend interfaces for chatbots and conversational feedback portals used by audit professionals, leveraging Streamlit.
• Develop Python and SQL scripts for data extraction, processing, consolidation, and transformation to support continuous audit indicators and agent memory.
• Create and maintain real-time monitoring dashboards using Grafana and develop automated workflows that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the execution and corrective maintenance of existing analytical tests, working efficiently with data sources to provide timely information for audit inspections.
• Collaborate with senior AI engineers and architects to develop, test, and evolve cloud-based AI solutions and contribute to technical decisions and implementation practices.
• Document automation workflows, data structures, business logic, integrations, and technical solutions to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience as a Software Developer, particularly in backend or full-stack development, or as a Data Analyst focused on automation.
• Strong practical knowledge of Python, including experience developing APIs, preferably with FastAPI, using data libraries such as Pandas, and applying software development best practices.
• Previous experience working with Generative AI projects, including technologies or concepts such as LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or prompt engineering.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, joining, transforming, and processing information across relational and analytical databases.
• Experience building data interfaces, dashboards, or visual prototypes using Streamlit.
• Practical experience consuming, integrating, and securing REST APIs and other web services.
• Experience with real-time monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana.
• Experience using Git for source-code versioning and maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with openness to learning new technologies and developing technical expertise under the guidance of senior professionals.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify manual process bottlenecks and propose practical automation solutions.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, particularly when documenting workflows, data structures, and automation logic.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE/Kubernetes, Cloud Run, or Cloud Functions is considered an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of document-oriented NoSQL databases such as Firestore is a plus.
• Familiarity with application instrumentation and observability technologies such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry is desirable.
