Accountabilities:

The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions while contributing to technical decisions and engineering excellence. The professional will work closely with development teams to build scalable systems, improve application performance, and support continuous innovation through modern software practices.

• Develop and evolve backend systems using Java and distributed architectures.
• Design, implement, and maintain applications based on object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Build and improve microservices architectures using technologies such as Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Develop solutions involving asynchronous communication and messaging platforms.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Apply engineering best practices for code quality, automated testing, scalability, and security.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, code reviews, and solution design.
• Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and application monitoring.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in complex environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable and impactful solutions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong backend development expertise, solid knowledge of scalable architectures, and the ability to contribute strategically to technical discussions. The role requires analytical thinking, ownership, and a passion for building efficient and maintainable software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience developing software solutions with Java and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and concurrent programming.
• Hands-on experience with messaging and asynchronous communication technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, SQS, or SNS.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data.
• Experience implementing automated tests and applying software quality practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, debugging, and application refactoring.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to participate in technical discussions.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with high-volume platforms and mission-critical systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Service Mesh technologies.
