This role sits at the core of cloud transformation initiatives, focused on building, automating, and optimizing modern infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work in a highly technical environment where Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native architectures are central to delivery. The position involves translating manual deployment processes into scalable, reliable, and fully automated pipelines that support high-performance systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure availability, resilience, and security across cloud environments. The work spans containerization, microservices infrastructure, and event-driven architectures, leveraging leading AWS services and DevOps best practices. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about cloud technologies and continuous improvement in fast-evolving environments.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions that enable efficient and secure software delivery across cloud environments.
- Implement infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Transform manual deployment processes into automated CI/CD pipelines and continuously optimize existing pipelines
- Support migration, enhancement, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Work with containerized and cloud-native architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS
- Design and support event-driven and microservices-based architectures integrated with AWS services
- Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Bash to improve operational efficiency
- Participate in change management processes, deployments, and production releases, including critical changes when required
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, security, and resilience of cloud environments
- Produce technical documentation and solution designs for implemented architectures and processes
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in production environments
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS, Fargate, EKS, API Gateway, and Lambda
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python (preferred) and/or Bash
- Experience with microservices infrastructure and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaboration tools like Jira
- Understanding of databases, networking protocols (HTTP, SSH, FTP), and distributed systems
- Ability to work with change management processes and production release cycles
- Advanced English proficiency (reading required for technical documentation)
