This role is centered on leading Software Asset Management (SAM) initiatives within complex IT environments, driving governance, compliance, and optimization of software usage across enterprise clients. You will play a key role in managing SAM projects end-to-end, from policy definition and process design to operational execution and reporting. Working in a highly collaborative and technology-driven environment, you will also contribute to ServiceNow-based IT Asset Management initiatives, ensuring visibility and control over software assets. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational work, requiring strong analytical capability and attention to detail. You will interact directly with clients and stakeholders, supporting licensing inquiries, compliance analysis, and lifecycle management of software assets. This is a key role for someone passionate about IT governance, SAM best practices, and continuous improvement in enterprise IT environments.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting SAM initiatives, ensuring software asset governance, compliance, and operational efficiency across client environments.

• Lead SAM projects, including the review and improvement of policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support ServiceNow-based initiatives across ITAM, ITOM, and ITSM modules.
• Execute operational routines such as software contracts, license, and user management.
• Analyze software usage environments and produce compliance and optimization reports.
• Manage the lifecycle of SAM-related tickets and support client interactions and requests.
• Respond to licensing inquiries based on vendor rules and official software documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of software asset governance and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical and business requirements.

Requirements:

This position requires strong experience in Software Asset Management, IT governance practices, and familiarity with enterprise IT environments and tools.

• Solid knowledge of IT management frameworks such as ITIL, ITAM, ITSM, and CMDB.
• Experience working with SAM tools such as Snow Software, ServiceNow, or Flexera.
• Familiarity with software and hardware inventory tools such as SCCM, BigFix, or Puppet.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Administration, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with good documentation ability.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in remote environments.
• Knowledge of SAM best practices such as ISO 19770-1, ISO 55000, and ITIL v4 is a plus.
• Certifications in ITSM/ITAM or related areas are considered a strong advantage.
